What
you get for £95 (inc UK post & packing):
A hand-painted portrait of your pet, measuring 8 inches square (see below
for prices of larger paintings), securely packaged, and posted first-class
recorded delivery. Portraits are painted in gouache (a water-based paint
like watercolour, but thicker) on acid-free watercolour board or coloured
paper. Larger portraits (over 12 inches high/wide) will be painted in
acrylic on canvas.
No need to pay up front - when your portrait is finished I will e-mail
you a scan of it. If you are happy with it, I will then invoice you, and
you can pay by Paypal, or, for UK customers only, personal cheque or Postal
Order. Once your payment has cleared, your portrait will be sent to you.
Delivery time varies according to how busy I am, but is currently 1 -
2 weeks for a standard size portrait.
What I will need from you:
At least one clear, sharp, well-lit photo of your pet. This should be
taken from the pet's eye level - i.e. not looking down at it, and needs
to be a close-up of the animal's head exactly as you want the finished
portrait to appear. I can work from digital photos or traditional prints
(but not slides please). Digital images can either be e-mailed to me (preferably
at the original size), or mailed on CD. Prints can also be mailed, or
scanned and e-mailed.

to the USA)
10 x 8 inches 'head & shoulders' portrait: £120 ($250)
10 x 8 inches full body portrait with background: £150 ($300)
12 x 10 inches full body portrait (or head of horse) on plain background:
£150 ($300)
12x 10 inches full body portrait with background detail: £200 ($400)

All prices are for unframed artwork. Sizes refer to dimensions of the
board - image size is slightly smaller. Pet portraits can be mailed anywhere
